B. Sc. LASER TECHNOLOGY / PHYSICAL ENGINEERING IN GERMANY
The aim of this course involves three specialisations; Laser Technology (using focused power and reinforced light in all facets), 3D Printing (additive manufacturing, creating highly individual products automatedly), and Biophotonics (using light to investigate biological samples, holding, cutting, moving cells, and components with optical tweezers).
The first semester covers physical and engineering basics. Students can choose which specialisation they wish to pursue by the end of the second semester.
This course will cover basics and require special knowledge. Students will operate, apply, develop, and overhaul technical devices, measurement methods, production processes, and specific technologies.
BSc. Laser Technology / Physical Engineering in Germany starts during the winter and spans six semesters. It is a full-time course taught in German.
We use laser technology in various advanced technologies like ideal welds for industrial production, implants in the medical field, laser-irradiated surfaces in the aerospace industry, data transfer of the future, and faster internet.
3D Printing uses difficultly weldable alloys and creates functional assemblies through 3D print. 3D printing can procreate customer-made products.
Biophotonics examines life mechanisms, understands cancer and diabetes, and develops efficient therapies and medical diagnostics.
