B. A. SOCIAL WORK IN GERMANY

Social work teaches occupational, communicative, and scientific abilities for personal and professional activities. Graduates will inherit the ability of an all-rounder. That ability will enable them to find the problematic areas of a person and intervene for them to provide permanent solutions.

By the end of this course, students will deal with distinct problems and issues and provide ethically sound advice and support to that person.

B.A. Social Work in Germany (a full-time course where the language is German) takes six semesters to complete. This course provides a practically oriented syllabus by designed casework, and they set practical connections. The social work course starts in the summer.

A 20-week internship for a practice module has to be done as part of the course. The final two semesters will produce a research project based on the student’s practical knowledge.  The course will end with a bachelor’s thesis in the last semester (sixth semester).
