BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN OPHTHALMIC OPTICS/ OPTOMETRY IN GERMANY

Ophthalmic Optics/Optometry in Germany will open the eyes of the student, literally! It combines medical and technical knowledge, which helps students work in various fields of business, research, and industries. 

This course is unique that it merges technical and optometric content. Ophthalmic Optics/Optometry is interesting because 50% of the course study is practical. Students will work efficiently as this course has small study groups.

Bachelor of Science in Ophthalmic Optics/Optometry in Germany prolongs for six semesters, beginning in the winter. An 8-week pre-study internship is a prerequisite. 

Some topics in this course are optometry (obviously!), pathology, anatomy, use of different equipment, pharmacology, research, physiology, and an interesting course called “English for Optometrists.”
