BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY IN GERMANY

An occupational therapy course is for you if you genuinely care about helping people in times of crisis or problems and morally support them. Occupational therapy in Germany has a primary qualification course that will cover job-specific theory and practical classes. 

In the practical phase of the course, the student will closely work with inpatient and outpatient people under supervision. 

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in Germany is an eight-semester course (taking place in German) beginning in the winter.

The focal points are occupational therapy as science, methodical and technical basics, innovative approaches, social participation, and working in teams.

They divide the occupational therapy course into two sections. The first section (first to the sixth semester) comprises 19 teaching modules and four practical modules as internships. The first part of the course will end with a state professional examination to test your skills.

The second section (seventh and eighth semester) comprises five teaching modules and two elective modules. These modules will have subjects that will boost your gained knowledge. The course will complete with a bachelor’s thesis.
