Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in Germany goes for seven semesters (starting in the winter semester) happening in German.

The exciting part is that students will have practical training in an industrial company during the fifth semester (18 weeks). The initial semesters will build the foundation of basic engineering subjects like mathematics, physics, mechanics, and materials engineering.

The following semesters involve machine elements, design of elements, manufacturing technology, energy technology, construction, fluid mechanics, and the use of computers. 

A bachelor’s thesis (along with a colloquium) has to be done in an industrial company during the last semester (seventh semester). The student should solve a challenging technical task using advanced engineering methods in the thesis. 

The compulsory elective subject (in the sixth and seventh semesters) can be heat transfer, machine acoustics, lightweight construction materials, innovation management, and production automation.
