For the next three semesters, the focus will shift to subject-specific content. During this period, students gain practical experience through internship training (an 8-week industrial internship).
Students must do two projects in the fifth and sixth semesters, deepening subject-specific knowledge and interdisciplinary working skills. 3D CAD is an interesting elective module for students during the fifth semester. The course will finish with a bachelor’s thesis in the last semester.
There is an option to study an extra voluntary year abroad supported by the university.
A passionate Laser and Optotechnologies student conveyed, “There are many modules and they teach you everything important so that you can get an overview of everything and later specialise. The course is small and therefore also very informal.”
