Continuously expanding range of academic programs of IBS includes Bachelor's level degree courses with specialization in Business Studies, Finance and Accounting, International Business Relations, Tourism Management and Arts Management and Master's level degree courses in International Business, Finance, HRM and Marketing Management all taught in English.

Hungary - member of the EU - is located in the centre of Europe. Budapest is a rapidly developing, exciting city where historical tradition and modern business and entrepreneurship combine to provide an invigorating atmosphere for living, work and study.

IBS offers four postgraduate programmes in English (1 year), leading to a Master of Sciences degree conferred by Oxford Brookes University:

  • MSc in International Business
  • MSc in Financial Management
  • MSc in Human Resource Management
  • MSc in Marketing Management

All our MSc programmes belonging to our MSc Portfolio are full time, 3-term long and last for effectively one calendar year (from September till September) and are designed primarily for recent graduates from countries all over the world, but will also be attractive for those wishing to make a career change. (For further details of admission criteria please go to Application process .)

In order to ensure the possibility for our students to work full time while studying, we have created a schedule that would fit their work duties: classes are held on Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday all day.

The programmes of the MSc Portfolio share the following common features regarding the curriculum and the delivery:

IBS graduates enter the employment market with a competitive edge, as an 11-month placement (on-the-job experience) is an integral part of the curriculum of the Bachelor Degree Programmes. During the second year students are prepared with the necessary behavioral and communication skills for the placement in the third year.

Third year Bachelor Degree students can experience a real work environment, put to test their studies of the previous two years and strengthen their practical knowledge. This will enable them to be more prepared and conscientious about their career goals. Many of the students receive employment offers from the companies they worked for in their placement year. The Career Office aims to develop and expand the network of domestic and international companies that welcomes IBS students for placement. IBS placement programme is attractive for its business partners as well, since these companies can employ a skillful and hardworking individual in a very cost-effective manner. This period provides a good possibility for the company to try out a candidate and many students return for year four already with a job offer after graduation.

Internship is NOT part of the Master programme but students can choose to work during the programme as classes are held in evenings and at weekends. The services of the Business Network Centre are available for all enrolled MSc students as well as for all IBS graduates who join the IBS Alumni community.
